Hi, I'm Renee—creator of In the Shadows. I bought my Cricut during the pandemic, thinking it would be a fun creative outlet. But honestly? It sat in the box for about a month because I was completely intimidated by it. Once I finally worked up the nerve to give it a try, I was hooked.
I started experimenting with different projects and quickly discovered how much I loved making rolled flowers. That led me to creating custom shadow boxes—each one a little piece of art filled with care and creativity. Eventually, I stumbled across layered 3D SVGs, and that’s when everything really clicked. My shadow boxes took on a new dimension (literally!) and became the heart of what I do today.
